During the 2008 legislative session, lawmakers passed a critical bill, HB 122, to help put an end to wage discrimination. The Wage Transparency Act gives employees the opportunity to talk about their wages without the risk of losing jobs. Being able to talk about wages in the workplace allows employees to address wage discrepancies without being punished.
